So, despite the crappy name, this turned out to be a pretty good show for the most part. I don’t have any real major complaints. That being said, I wouldn’t say there were too many things I’d tell people to go out of their way to see either.

Bray Wyatt defeated Seth Rollins to open the show. It was a decent match, but I still feel no reason to believe that it’s going to do anything for Bray’s credibility and that’s probably because I didn’t care about the match going in. I don’t know what it is about Rollins that I just can’t get into him that much – at least since the face turn. I know he’s very good and I loved him in the Shield, but these days I’m just not into him.

Next Big Cass squashed Enzo and it was basically everything it was expected to be.

Cesaro and Sheamus defeated the Hardys in a solid Ironman match to retain the WWE World Tag Team Championship. It was a good match, although I find Ironman matches a bit tedious to be honest. They all follow the same generic formula where there’s always a tie until very close to the end or there’s OT, so it is what it is. So it’s really how much do you want to see these people for half an hour?

Sasha Banks defeated Alexa Bliss via countout to not win the WWE Women’s Championship in an otherwise good match. And honestly, fuck countouts. I didn’t expect Sasha to win the title here but I’m still so annoyed.

The Miz retained the Intercontinental Championship against Dean Ambrose and please just let this feud die.

Braun Strowman defeated Roman Reigns in a pretty good ambulance match. And then Roman decided to be a sore loser and attacked Braun even more and crashed an ambulance with him in it into an eighteen wheeler.

Heath Slater and Curt Hawkins pretended to have a match but it was really just there so we could wait for the fire department to show up and get Strowman out of the ambulance, which they did, and then Strowman walked away.

And finally, Brock Lesnar defeated Samoa Joe in a really fun match to retain the Universal Championship. This feud has been great and Joe’s been a legitimate beast and certainly more of a threat to Brock than Oldberg, but as expected, he still fell short. I’m only really annoyed that he didn’t kick out of one F-5 because he absolutely should have. But, what can you do?

Rating: ***1/2

Overall a really good show.
