If we’re being honest here, this wasn’t a bad show. But it wasn’t anything to write home about either. There were some rather enjoyable matches on this show, and some that were the exact opposite.

The Sasha vs. Becky match on the preshow was fun, although it got interrupted by a too long commercial and it should’ve been on the main show.

The triple threat ladder match for the WWE World Tag Team Championship was probably the best match on the show. There were a few awkward parts in the beginning, but once it picked up, it was great. The Salida del Sol by Kalisto onto Uso number 1 over the top of the ladder and through a ladder was ridiculous, and then Sin Cara hitting the Senton on him – that Uso was dead. Also that one bump Kofi took face first onto the ladder – ouch. New Day retains thankfully.

Ryback vs. Rusev was boring and I barely paid attention. Rusev won, which I guess is good.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Jack Swagger in a Chairs match for the U.S. Title was boring up until the Ankle lock in the chair. After that I enjoyed the rest of it. But it was just “Hit with chair. Hit with chair” for the most part. Del Rio retained, and no one cared.

The four on four elimination tables match between the Wyatts and the Dudleyz and company was fun, but it was nothing amazing. I appreciate that the Wyatts won, and only Rowan was eliminated. I appreciate that Harper wasn’t eliminated because he’s the best of the four. Also don’t tease flaming tables if there won’t be flaming tables.

Dean Ambrose vs. Kevin Owens for the Intercontinental Championship was a fun match, although I can’t say I have much to say about it. It was fun. It wasn’t amazing, but it was fun. And Ambrose won the title – which is awesome for him, and it sucks for Owens. But I love Ambrose, so it’s ok. And his celebration was ridiculous.

Charlotte vs. Paige for the Second Rate Women’s Championship…..Sigh. Was it a good match? Yes. Am I happy? No. I am so sick and fucking tired of seeing Paige get title match after title match without getting the title. She’s gotten at least seven opportunities for the title over the course of this entire year and she has gotten NOTHING. When has someone been in the title picture for a year and not once gotten the title? She’s a face against a heel with someone in her corner and she loses the title match always because of outside interference or cheating, then when she’s a heel she can’t win the title because she’s a heel and heels have to lose, and then they’re both kind of heels and the opponent has someone in their corner and she loses from outside interference and cheating. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK. GIVE PAIGE WHAT SHE DESERVES.

And honestly, I barely paid any attention to Sheamus vs. Roman Reigns because I knew how it was going to end, dirt sheets said it would, and then I spoiled the ending because I just didn’t give a shit. Admittedly the Superman Punch on the top of the ladder was pretty cool. But League of Nations interference helps Sheamus win to no one’s surprise.

Now, as far as the post match is concerned, that was pretty awesome. Triple H got destroyed. I can’t lie, it was great. And I’m sure Roman is happy with finally getting all of the cheers for once – so he may not have won the title, but it’s probably a good night for him, all things considered.

Overall, there were some fun matches, but not much of consequence. Watch the ladder match and watch Roman kill Triple H. Nothing else is worth going out of your way to see.
