I feel like this needs to be said.

A day later, I can’t help but keep laughing at people that are mad at Undertaker lost. WWE will not “end” because the streak ended. If the only thing keeping WWE alive is the streak, they wouldn’t run all year long, and instead would run the six weeks Undertaker would be around a year.

Yes, Brock Lesnar was the wrong person for Undertaker to lose to. Yes, the build to the match was bad. Yes, the match was bad. But, Undertaker clearly wanted to lose to Lesnar, otherwise it would not have happened. The match was bad – that’s what happens when you’re 40+ and not in as good of shape as you used to be.

Obviously, the streak should have went to someone much younger – someone like Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, or the best option, Bray Wyatt. Obviously not right now, but in the future. But if last night was Taker’s “best,” then it’s only going to be worse when it would potentially be time for that match to happen.

Once again – it was Undertaker’s decision. You don’t have the right to complain that he lost – it’s his career, not yours. You can complain how it was done, but not that it was done.

Whether Undertaker’s career is over is yet to be seen. Obviously the match won’t mean as much more – preferably, I’d have him have to win every match now, and if he loses, his career is over, kind of like how they did it with Ric Flair in 2007-08.

To those who want their precious Undertaker vs. Sting match, please reconsider that. We’ve just seen that Undertaker’s not in great shape, and Sting certainly isn’t. Have you seen him in TNA at the end of 2013? You all want this match between two icons from the ’90’s, I get it. You forget it’s 2014. (2015 by the time the match would happen.) Your interpretation of that match in your mind involves them both in their prime. What you’ll get will be a crapfest like Taker vs. Lesnar. (Seriously, the divas match was better.)

If you want to complain how WWE is ruining your childhood memories, go ahead. I’m not going to stop you. That’s your choice, that’s your right. Please just keep in mind that it’s not nearly as bad as you think it is.

You’ve been complaining for eight months that Daniel Bryan is not the WWE Champion. Guess what – he defeated Triple H, and he won a triple threat match and is now the WWE Champion. Learn to be happy for once. If you want every single little thing to be perfect, you will never enjoy anything. You will just sit and try to find the next thing to complain about – about how things aren’t “as good as they used to be.” “IT’S NOT AS GOOD AS THE ATTITUDE ERA ZOMG!”

I’m so tired of butthurt attitude era marks. I’m so glad I started watching when it was basically over, so I don’t have some sense of entitlement to everything being over the top and if every single second isn’t the best thing in the world, than the show is terrible. How dare that one match of an otherwise amazing show be bad, or how dare they have one person win that I didn’t want to.

The attitude era is over. And I’m sick of seeing people from the past show up and all of a sudden everyone is mildly interested, because their now 40+ year old heroes are around defeating the talent that’s there busting their asses all year, just to lose to old people and look like crap because of it. If you want an example of how people from the past showing up to help the actual company goes, you look at how the Shield destroyed Kane and the New Age Outlaws in roughly three minutes at WrestleMania. Oh, I’m sorry, I bet you responded with “How could those guys I don’t even know beat KANE AND THE NEW AGE OUTLAWS?!?!1” Oh you didn’t know? The outlaws are old, and the Shield is better than anything they’ve done.

If the Streak is the only thing keeping you watching wrestling, then, tell me, how come you’re watching the show from post-WM to February? The Streak isn’t involved then, but yet, you watch anyway. Trust me, I know you do. If you’re a typical wrestling fan, you sit and complain about how bad it is, yet you watch the next week anyway. It’s how we all are. I can say the same thing. C.M. Punk is gone. I’m still watching, aren’t I? There’s more on the show than just your one guy that you back more than no other.

It’s not about the past anymore. Stop living in days of “better times,” and pay attention, and maybe you’ll find that it’s not as bad as you think it is. So what, there’s no one hitting each other with chairs and bleeding every other minute, someone driving a zamboni down the ramp the next, hanging on an Undertaker symbol, and so on. Your precious attitude era was nowhere near perfect either. Half of those “better characters” you mention were jobbers.

WWE isn’t going to end because Undertaker lost. The show was still the best WrestleMania in many years. Sure, it’s not WM17 or WM19, but it’s probably the third or fourth best one they’ve ever had – depending on if WM21’s undercard is enough to make up for its main events. Stop looking to how much “better” you think it was back then and start realizing the future isn’t nearly as bleak as you make it out to be. I’m tired of hearing about it.

Things have happened, like Chris Benoit. WWE is never going back to how you remembered it. If you start caring about the actual wrestling and not the blood, swearing, chair shots, and half naked chicks (I mean, that’s what the attitude era basically was), you might find things aren’t THAT bad. At least not as bad as you think it is.

It’s not perfect, I understand that. It’s also never going to be, which is what you need to understand. You’re going to have to realize that WWE’s audience isn’t ONLY you. There are millions of other fans who watch this show. I guarantee that if WWE catered to the needs of only one person, then that’s when you can say WWE is in the most danger of going out of business. As much as you hate John Cena, that doesn’t change how many fans he does happen to have (as dumb as we may think they are, that won’t make them go away.) As dumb as we think it is that WWE has a divas reality show, there are people who for some reason will watch it. I don’t understand it, but they do exist.

Stop pretending that there’s nothing good going on in WWE. Stop pretending there aren’t any good wrestlers. I shouldn’t have to point in the general direction of Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler, Cesaro, The Shield, The Wyatt Family, Damien Sandow, Cody Rhodes, The Usos, A.J. Lee, Paige (New Divas Champion!), Emma, Sami Zayn, The Ascension, Adam Rose, Corey Graves, etc., but I will if I have to.

As much as I like to complain about some things sometimes, it still needs to be said. There’s nothing wrong with voicing your opinion when something is wrong, but when they give you a WrestleMania that was otherwise gold, don’t complain about the one thing that was bad. It isn’t your decision what Undertaker wants to do. The streak is over, Undertaker’s legacy lives on. The longer the streak would go on, the more his matches would turn into bore-fests. DO YOU WANT TO SIT THROUGH YOUR EVERLASTING HERO STINKING UP THE GRANDEST STAGE? I didn’t think so. If you want to keep complaining about it, go complain to Undertaker himself and see what he thinks. Just try not to sound too butthurt.

That’s all I’ve got to say.
